Hello everyone. I have not posted here I lot but now I am posting..hmm..okay, well, I have a friend, right? She lives about an hour away from me and she has started a club. She is afraid she will have to shut it down if she doesn't get members. All the club does it put out a newsletter. She sent me this email about it..

Hi Girls!
I just want to tell you about a club that me and my friends have started. You probably have already recieved at least one thing about this club, but I promise that this will be the last one becuase no one wants to be in it. We are going to have to quit the club if I do not get any replies to this. You only have a month to answer to this. If we just get one that wants to write columns for the newsletter then you can save the club. And maybe by doing that we could help someone come to Christ. Please reconsider this once more. It isn't that big of a commitment to write a column twice a month. The available columns are the following:
Local Events/Sales
Movie Reviewz
and any column that you think about you can do.
The ones that are already taken are:
Cool Sitez
Prayer Requestz
Intro To Newsletter
And that's it.

We may even include Guyz also. So if there are any guys that you know that would be interested we could just call it Godly Guyz and Galz. PLEASE PLEASE help us by either doing it yourself or sending this to someone that would want to do it. Thank you!

As you can see, she is doing this solely for the purpose of glorifing God. If you guys could please maybe join this club and help out some (even if you live across the world) I know we would all like it.

My Mom just got news from the doctor. It isn't congestive heart failure or cancer. So things are looking up a little.

Also, if any of you are going to be at Aquire the Fire in Indianapolis this weekend, leave a comment, or IM me (tsmwp is my sn) Maybe we can meet, if you want to.

Well... today is my first full day of Spring Break. It hasn't been the best one so far, since last night I learned that one of my Mom's lungs is filling with fluid and this might be a sign of congestive heart failure. We won't know anything more until next week.

This morning my Grandpa had died.

Prayer for my whole family would be good. There's not much more I can do about any of this, and things have just been hard lately... I'm exhausted in every sense of the word. I was thinking of just taking a few days to fall off the face of lj, but i'll probably be around to read any comments.

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." Matthew 11:28-30.

Isaiah 41:8 "But you, O Israel, my servant,
Jacob, whom I have chosen,
you descendants of Abraham my friend,
9 I took you from the ends of the earth,
from its farthest corners I called you.
I said, 'You are my servant';
I have chosen you and have not rejected you.
10 So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Luke 7
Jesus Raises a Widow's Son
11Soon afterward, Jesus went to a town called Nain, and his disciples and a large crowd went along with him. 12As he approached the town gate, a dead person was being carried out--the only son of his mother, and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the town was with her. 13When the Lord saw her, his heart went out to her and he said, "Don't cry."
14Then he went up and touched the coffin, and those carrying it stood still. He said, "Young man, I say to you, get up!" 15The dead man sat up and began to talk, and Jesus gave him back to his mother.

God is compassionate.

That is too easy to forget.

Subject:The Power of Passion

Mood: ecstatic.
I went and saw The Passion Of Christ. And it was awesome. (Want more info on what I thought? Go to http://www.opendiary.com and scroll down. user name: lilies_4_moi ). But let's hear a praise report about the effects of this movie.

My second period health class is going on a field trip next week. Any guesses what we're going to do? Here's a hint.. we're seeing a movie (special showing at a special discount price). Now do you know? That's right. My public school class, is going to see The Passion Of Christ.

Now what with all the controversy about religion in public schools, how did this happen? How on earth did we get it approved? How did all of it happen? God. That's how. Plain and simple. There is no way it would have gottne passed had it not been for God's hand on it.

Please please pray for opened hearts of those attending. I'm going to go. I'm going to bring a Book Of Hope. God is moving you guys. He's alive and well and he's working here.

Praise God.

Matthew 7

Ask, Seek, Knock
7"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.
9"Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! 12So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.

Prayer is needed, for several reasons.

My Church is in a bit of financial trouble... not huge, but they don't want to have to cut anything from the budget. Pray that God would provide.

The political situation in Haiti. This may seem kinda random, but they country does need prayer.

My friend Amy, who isn't a believer, is depressed and trying to find herself. Pray for her heart to be opened and for God to work through me or some one to reach her... and that I would have wisdom and a spirit of gentleness when I talk to her.

Then there is me

To put it bluntly, I'm bitter. My own malice scares me... and I'm not sure what comes next. Self-loathing is a tremendously selfish emotion, and it doesn't seem to want to go away. I'm trying to keep proper motives, but my mind and heart are very confused places right now.

I also need help to connect with people in my youth group. I tend to back into my dark anti-social corner,I likemy dark anti-social corner, but I know that is not what God wants from me there.

Thanks for reading.

Be! Alert!

Everyone has a certain time a day when they feel energized. I could be when you first wake up during lunch or right before you go to sleep. Pay close attention and you can see when that time is. Once you have found out then use that time to do you devotion or pray. it's a sure-fire way to be able to "give God your all!"

The Return of the King, the final installment in the Lord of the Rings, has finally been released. When it is released on extended DVD and video, we will finally see the massive efforts made by Peter Jackson to bring forth this epic.

However, we cannot forget Lord of the Rings' beginnings. Written by a Christian, the lands of Middle-Earth were created as a way to escape the horrors of trench warfare during World War 1. As the years progressed, so did Middle-Earth, finally taking form in The Hobbit, a book J.R.R. Tolkien would tell his children. After The Hobbit was published, Tolkien was asked to write a sequel.

The result was an epic novel that has deep, significant meaning. The One Ring is the focal point, and its ability to corrupt even the most pure of heart is the driving presence in the story. But what implications does this have for us as Christians? WARNING: LORD OF THE RINGS SPOILERS AHEAD. DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THE BOOK. SEEING THE MOVIE IS NOT ENOUGHCollapse )

Hello everyone... I haven't posted here in a long time...

Well anyway, I really need prayer right now. I have been depressed. I'm trying not to be bitter. I also need discernment in choosing classes for my senior year, since they will affect my college choices a lot after the dive my GPA is taking this semester.

But I did survive finals. That is only by the grace of God.

Listen to #1 Fan by KJ-52. It's on his album, It's Pronounced Five-Two. Borrow the cd from someone, request it on whatever Christian station you listen to, or get the cd. This song is killer. I don't mean it's one that you bang your head to or anything. I mean it's powerful. It'll shock you right back into your seat. It is absolutely awesome. THE BEST SONG on that album.

I have a fun activity. How many of you use the NIV Bible? How about the NLT? Here's a couple quick things to do:

Take the NIV Bible. Look up Acts 8:36-38. Then get a NKJV or a KJV Bible and look up those verses. I think you'll be surprised.

Take the NLT Bible. Look up Job chapters 40 and 41. Grab a KJV or NKJV (or even NIV, which surprised me), and compare. Again, I think you'll be surprised.

I thought it might be a little enlightening. I'd like to hear any thoughts you have about that.

I had a thought a while ago. This is a new year. A new start. A chance to forget the past. I say we take advantage of this opportunity.

Last March, our youth group had a thing called Teen Encounter. It was a time where we sorted through all the garbage and got rid of it. Any baggage we had we took care of. It was a great time for all who attended.

I say we do that now. If you hold any grudges against somebody, go work things out with them. Clear the air. Bury the hatchet. Get rid of the heavy bags we're carrying. It's a really refreshing feeling.

I hope ya'll are having a nice new year. Talk to ya'll later.
